The Role: Implementation & support of Campus LAN network management solutions in support of e-business, Outsourcing.

Mandatory: Detailed Operating System experience - AIX & Windows NT, Hardware experience - RS6000's and PC Servers. Exposure to LAN topologies and protocols,  LAN hardware. Documentation production, appreciation of LAN services from a delivery  perspective as well as a technical perspective. Good team player with excellent communications skills. Self starter, as some remote management.

Desirable Skills: Working knowledge of Cisco Works, NetView, NWAYs Campus Manager or Cabletron Spectrum is desirable. A good understanding of RMON, SNMP, VLANS, ELANS. Previous work with commercial customers or in a commercial environment would be useful. Project Management, effective task management.

The Role: IT Specialist in SAP Application Support, to support World Wide SAP deployments to Internal Customer in support of business process re-engineering.

Mandatory: Experience of working in IT, Communication Skills, Customer Care Skills. Ability to meet deadlines,  Flexible and committed,  Team Player Knowledge of SAP.

Desirable Skills: Experience of AIX and MVS, MQ Series. Knowledge of the Fulfillment business, Experience of CPMA.

Job Title:    AIX / SP Specialist

Location:    Hampshire   

Salary:        Up to £35K + Bens  

The Role: SP configuration, including Base Operating System support utilising, AIX operating system, High Availability offerings of HACMP and HAGEO and the Operational DBA support of the DB2 product set.

Mandatory: Install, configure, upgrade AIX operating system within an SP environment, SP system admin support (including PSSP support).  Install, configure and support of HACMP in a production environment. Implementation / Support of Backup and Recovery processes and procedures within a large, multi-node SP environment - use of ADSM is desirable. Performance Analysis/Optimisation i/o, cpu and memory usage. Good Problem Management Disciplines. Self Motivated, Team Player.  ADSM Client. Operational DBA Support (DB2) - installation, configuration, database management (including Database Reorganising). Software upgrades.

Desirable Skills: Familiarity with HAGEO within a production environment
