Role: SP
configuration, including Base Operating System
support utilising, AIX operating system, High
Availability offerings of HACMP and HAGEO and the
Operational DBA support of the DB2 product set.
Mandatory:
Install, configure, upgrade AIX operating system
within an SP environment, SP system admin support
(including PSSP support). Install, configure and support of HACMP in a production
environment. Implementation / Support of Backup
and Recovery processes and procedures within a
large, multi-node SP environment - use of ADSM is
desirable. Performance Analysis/Optimisation i/o,
cpu and memory usage. Good Problem Management
Disciplines. Self Motivated, Team Player. ADSM Client. Operational DBA Support (DB2) - installation,
configuration, database management (including
Database Reorganising). Software upgrades.
Desirable
Skills: Familiarity with HAGEO within a
