Job Title:          Tester

Location:           Any UK

Salary:              Up to £45K + Bens

The Role: Assist in the development of test strategies and plans. Interface with the Business and Systems Analysts within the development lifecycle process.

Mandatory:  2 years structured testing experience. Experienced with PC based databases, particularly Microsoft Access, Fox Pro, Filemaker Pro, HTML, Visual Basic and Business Objects. Web-base databases (mainly Oracle). Very good written and oral communication skills, Good analytical skills, Organised, proactive and flexible. Self-motivated with good time management. Ability to identify and escalate issues in a timely manner, Commitment to quality.

Desirable Skills: Understanding of the  Test Process Model. Working knowledge of PMW, Lotus Notes and MS Office.

Job Title:       Business Tester

Mandatory:  Good negotiating skills, able to demonstrate flexibility,  At least two years of experience as a tester (business or technical) with experience of developing test case design and specifications. Working knowledge of one or more  Test Process Model (or equivalent), solution design, development lifecycle, project management, business area analysis, software configuration management.

Desirable Skills:  Knowledge of  Test Process Model,  TRAC-Notes  - Test tools  - Set-up of test environments, including regression test beds.

Job Title:      Technical Test Specialist

Salary:          Up to £40K + Bens

Location:      UK Wide, must be willing to travel

The Role: Increasing customer demands on  Test Services,  responsible for all aspects of technical testing. Recent experience of technical testing following a defined test methodology and structure method 3 years relevant IT test experience.                                                                                                     

Mandatory:  Technical expertise in a selection of the following: DB2, DB2/2, IMS,    ORACLE, INFORMIX, OS/2, MVS AIX, UNIX, CICS, SQL, REXX , JCL ,  JAVA  Internet Technologies. Team Leadership skills. Must be able to communicate to a high standard in written and spoken English.   

Desirable Skills:  Identify / Create Test Environment Requirements, Define / establish technical test strategies, Experience of testing large commercial applications. Use of test tools / productivity aids, Experience in a variety of operating systems (main frame and  mid range) UK Driving License.

Job Title:     Performance Assurance and Testing Team Leader

Salary:        Up to £45K + Bens, must be will to travel

Location:    South East or Midlands  

The Role: to lead client testing projects on behalf of  ITS Services Business. 

Mandatory: Excellent project management skills 5 yrs experience;  team leadership written and verbal communication, Good customer handling, understanding of the IT market place; understanding of competitive environment; ability to plan with Microsoft Project. 

Desirable skills: Education to degree level or equivalent; Good test environment experience, awareness of the Test Process Model methodology, test tools e.g. SET, Loadrunner. performance management and capacity planning, Good awareness of service offerings. A significant amount of travel will be involved, mainly within the UK but occasionally to other Northern Region countries (Eire, Netherlands and South Africa) and to test centers in the USA and France.

Job Title:         Testing Manager

Location:         Hampshire, must be willing to travel  

Salary:            Up to £38K + Bens

The Role: is performed in customer, events / exhibitions and a lab environment. It requires hands-on technical skills in PC hardware servers, desktops and mobile, wide experience of installation, configuration and support of operating systems Microsoft Windows 9x/NT, plus mainframe. Familiarity with Mercury Loadrunner is required.

Mandatory: Must have experience in designing, implementing and documenting test cases in LAN and desktop/mobile environments. Role also involves planning  development, assisting in planning and prioritising work items and project management. 

Desirable Skills:  AIX, Linux, Segue Silk, Performer  Project Management      Experience in working to ISO9000 and TickIt standards
